How do I get VetIT at home?
If you have a Laptop, PC or Mac Login as you would at the practice. If you’re unsure how to do this please email VetIT Support email@example.com for assistance.
If you only have a Phone or Tablet you can download the mobile app for a small fee, this will enable you to dispense items, check clinical records, and record new clinical notes then upload to the Practice.

How do I communicate with my clients?
Skype is commonly used for connecting via a video link, this can be used from the Vets workstation to their clients. Skype can also be used via mobile phones. Other applications such as FaceTime from Apple and WhatsApp are available for this purpose. Skype: https://www.skype.com/en/ Whatsapp: https://www.whatsapp.com/
The VetIT “On The Road” application allows you to dispense and write up your clinical notes into your mobile, the information can then be uploaded into your main VetIT system. VetIT support can create a column on the Practice Appointment screen which will link directly with the app or you can download individual clients. VetIT OTR can be downloaded from Google Play and the Apple Store.

How to dispense when not in the practice?
By utilising the dispensary functionality in VetIT, all mobile and main system users can generate a single list, so that one person can organise items to be collected by clients. For Example vets booking remotely and one in practice dispensing drugs.
Taking Online Payment?
The veterinary practice could setup a PayPal account for taking payments. Alternatively the client could ring the practice and pay over the phone before the video consultation. PayPal – https://www.paypal.com/uk/home
